  1. Dry roast the ingredients in garam masala section for 2-3 minutes. Cool and grind to powder. You can sieve and store this masala or use as it is.
  2. Soak tamarind in warm water. Take out the pulp and keep aside.

  7. Add salt and tamarind pulp and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add water. Close the lid to pressure cooker and take 3-4 whistles.
  8. Garnish with fried cashews and groundnuts.
